VA Western New York Healthcare System has been selected as the host site for the 2013 National Veterans Golden Age Games, an official program of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The Games, held in Buffalo, May 30 through June 4, 2013 will include over 800 Veterans from across the nation competing in the world’s largest sports and recreational competition for senior Veterans.

Golden, former chief of neurology research and development, serves outpatients with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, memory loss, and other types of cognitive impairment.
